signs We are enjoying your blog. I could not believe all the signs. It made we think of South Dakota and signs every few feet along the highway. I forgot about the scenery to read the signs. Are the signs distacting to you or just funny? Love you. Hugs around.
Hi, Joan! I'll skip the writing of the book, and you just send the money to me! Speaking of money, I was trying to talk myself into needing a vest that say Silver Spur, and which I really don't need, and when I thought about where would I keep it, that was the thought that made me leave it in the store!
cameras Yeeezzzzzzzzzz! You can't even go camping and for a walk without your hair combed and make-up on anymore!!! Another good reason not to exercise!!!
Back at ya' Oh, aren't you the helpful one!!! And don't encourage me to keep anything~~our rule is "If it's not used for something, it's not kept." Sounded like a good rule in May, but I'm not loving it in October!
nuts to you I really think you should keep some of those acorns. They will always serve as a reminder of where you have been. See just when you think you have rid yourself of all of the useless collections of crap, I encourage you to start collecting! Besides sometimes instead of telling Bob he is nuts - you could just leave a couple laying in his coffee cup!! Love you, Margo
Thanks for your prayers, Randi, we always covet them, and I'd ask that your prayers include the project we're working on. We feel very blessed to be able to live this lifestyle.
Great to hear from your travels! Vicki, This is great to read your comments about your mission work and to see pictures also. You and Bob are in my prayers and we pray that the Lord may continue to bless all that you do.
Walnuts The Walnuts you were addressing a couple days ago, have many uses. not only is the hulls used for stains and dyes, but the shells are used as a blasting medium, as in sand blasting, for removing coatings from items where coal slag or other blasting substances would be too harsh.
What's work???? We are working~~or what everyone calls work! The men are working hard~~everything has to be carried from on slope to another, no matter what they're working on. And the lumber company that dropped off the wood didn't do them any favors by placing it where they did.
We finished cleaning and resetting the gift shop, and yesterday Wanda and I worked in the flower beds, and Nancy and Germaine sewed rags out of raggedy towels. Today we all four cleaned one of the houses that a staff member is moving into. It took four of us 3 1/2 hours (that's our work day!) and it looks terrific, and smells wonderful! Hey, they call that working!
Even more nuts! What a funny story! Thanks for sharing...it made both of us laugh, and Bob commented that it would be fun to try that from the #6 tee box in Sidney!
Hello, from ND I finally had a chance to get caught up on your blog! I was so far behind I even made a bag of popcorn to enjoy with the show! What a beautiful adventure you are on! I love your personal comments along with the stories....it is like carrying on a conversation with you! Hi, Patty! North Dakota misses you both! I am waiting to see if you get to practice building dog kennels!! Hugs from here! Love you guys!

Miss you terribly!!! Your messages and pictures and so fun and interesting at the same time. Thank you for sounding like yourself in them. It brings you so much closer and we miss you so much. You were the best neighbors we have ever had!!! And a hard act to follow. We love you and pray for you and your ministry. I have to admit that we also pray a little selfishly and pray that God brings you back this way safe and sound.
We retired the end of 2006, and started traveling the country, working with RVICS~~Roving Volunteers in Christ's Service. (Pronounced R-VICS.) We live and travel in our motor home, and work at Christian camps, schools and conference centers accross the country. RVICS isn't affiliated with one denomination; rather, it's a Christ faith based ministry. We don't travel as a group, but whoever is assigned to a particular project meets up on the beginning date. We're on each project about four weeks.
If you are interested in more information on RVICS, please log on to: rvics.com, or contact u... full info
