Enjoying the travelogue and pictures. Just a bit envious of 12 hours of sleep.

The flight from !!
I can relate to the flight, we had a similar flight back to USA except they were 2 inconsiderate adults in front of us. It looks like you are now getting into the enjoyable part of vacation. Room sounds nice especially when you are tired. We will be following your adventure.

Beautiful!
Is Windsor Castle where the Meagan and Harry got married? The pictures you are taking are very pretty. Keep having fun!

Tally Ho!
We were in Windsor several years ago during the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which featured beautuful horses, well turned out riders, six-horse hitches with gorgeous carriages, and knee-deep mud. I use the free WaveSound app on my phone or tablet to generate wave sounds. It is most soothing.

Electricity
You need a converter or transformer and your appliance has to be rated to work on both 110 (USA) and 220 Europe. I have a spare for you to use next trip. Though CIE should have sent you what you needed in that dept. I guess your little fan could only use 110 current. Trip looks wonderful

Windsor Castle!
So glad you got to visit the castle, it's a fascinating history. Your tour at night sounds fun, as well. Typical English weather, huh? And yes, fans and hair dryers - forget it - you can buy a local one and it will work in their electrical system. Sometimes those converters don't do a great job. :-(

Windsor Castle
Sounds like we need to put this on our list for our future trip back to England. I can imagine how nice it was from our tour of Buckingham Palace last year. Have a great Monday when you get up.

Loving the castle pictures
Looks like you are going to have a great trip. I would have absolutely loved an evening tour of that castle. Looks great in the pictures. Will try Internet. I wonder if it has ghosts? Looking forward to your blog rest up lots of adventure in store for you both.

Windsor looks amazing! I had no idea you guys were heading back overseas, I am supremely jealous. I can’t believe it’s been a year since our own trip to London. Can’t wait to see what you get up to!

Businesses “leaning on” each other for survival!

Yay! Another vacation!
Quaint & from the coats I'm guessing a bit chilly. The angles are a bit curious. Nighty night.

Edge of Windsor Castle—more tomorrow I am sure

So did I or didn’t I submit my comment? I’m new to this. Anyway, John needs a hat. With a pompon.

Yes you did...
To all...you won’t see your comment until I sign off on it after it is read. Since I was in bed (12 hours!!) I didn’t read them until this morning. Thanks for the comments!

Washcloths
Why they don't have them in hotels is one of the mysteries of life. Do the locals use them at home? Yes they do. We have stayed in many top end hotels in Britain and same thing. We tend to stay in American brands like Hilton, Marriott and Holiday inn and most do not supply them in the rooms. In some cases they do have them if you ask for them. Try that. Holiday Inn Express hotels over there have a paper mitt thing instead of washcloths. Is it better than nothing? I'm not sure. So like you we always carry our own. Glad you arrived safely in spite of the kid. It's about 6 pm there so you probably won't last much longer today. Get a good nights sleep and ready for tomorrow. Give our regards to the Queen!

1 flight is way better than 3
Sounds like a rough flight noise-wise. At least you only had 1 flight and no long layovers. Looking forward to your tour of Windsor Castle.

"Brake down? Kinda, sorta..."
Why is it always "...the INSIDE tire on the duelie..." ??? (We seem to recall another LOUD & SCAREY incident with a freaky tire situation "...many moons ago..." ??

So true...
Ours wasn’t that noisy but “the coulda beens” were scary. Luckily we were in a perfect spot for it to have happened, and it all ended well. Hugs!
