" However, I recall Monument Valley most vividly as the background for the Roadrunner and Wile. E. Coyote cartoons, the latter forever dropping an anvil from the edge of a precipice, invariably to his own detriment." "how about ending this cartoon before I hit?" Coyote holds up sign while falling (Screen begins to shrink). "Thank you."

Kruger
Craig what an amazing experience! How fortunate you were to see all of the Big 5 too. We missed out on seeing the Rhino which was a shame. You know I can still \"feel\" the roar of the Lion that we encountered. He wasn't very happy to see us at the time and felt he needed to let us know. Amazing animals. Love reading your blogs. Brings back all the memories from our trip 5yrs ago. Looking forward to the next installment. Safe travels.

Eccentric Americans
i just re-read this one in detail at reminded of my trip to Egypt in 1984. how? I always remember an American with a huge peaked cap labelled "US agriculture" getting onto the ferwry to go the tombs of Luxor - and he carried 3 tennis racquets! Stand-up comedy gold!

Now on to the important stuff!
Thats enough of the humanity and cultural stuff, time to move on to the serious part of the trip like how someone nearly got eaten by a lion (most likely you Craig), run down buy a herd of racing Zebras or at least someone (again probably you Craig) falling into a huge pile of elephant dung!

omg
Firstly, Happy Belated Birthday Ross - & OMG you made it to 50 - fark! :-) Sitting in your kitchen sing out of tune Christmas carols seems such a long time ago - cos it was.. And secondly, Craig - dont you dare apologise for the length of these blog entries - you put mine to shame, I love reading where you guys have been & what you have been doing! As I read I can see you both sitting doing exactly what you are writting about, getting a wee bit drunk on too much rosé :-) Your descriptions of the destinations is just fab, I'm sitting here reading this one thinking - bloody hell I was born in the UK and havent seen as much. I have a fade memory of Stonehenge from a bus window, going to some RAF airbase where we stayed for the night on coming back from Penang (I was 9). Enjoy you last few days up north, as it sounds more sunny and warm than anything going on down here - we had sun for 20 minutes on Monday - I know I timed it :-) Stay safe, travel well - hugs and love, C & T xx ps: Happy Birthday again Ross :-)

Keep it coming! They are great fun to read and who else am I going to trust for drag queen show reviews? Please let me know if you guys need an airport pickup when you get back to Melbourne. I'll live really close now and would love to save you a horrible jet lagged public transport experience if you need! Let me know. cheers

Lucky ducks!
Hi Guys, Gee, I'm finding it hard to keep up with you jetsetters! Can't believe you bastards had a Chimay Blue in Belgium. Probably the best beer ever brewed in the history of beer brewing!! Interested to know what you paid for it over there. Cost me about $23 the other day for a long neck and a carton of the good stuff will set you back about $170 :( Good to here your having a great time, once again look forward to catching up and seeing some photo's. Take care, Rodd, Rach and the boys.
