Craig and Ross in Botswana and Namibia You Guys, I'm enjoying every moment and photo of your fabulous adventure. Keep them coming, (So to speak.) Cheers, JG.
Alaska First congrats on Blogger of the Week. Your bear photos are fascinating; something out of the movie The Revenant! Holy smokes I'm not sure I could get that close but thank you for allowing me to do so via your lens!
Bears, bears, bears! What a fabulous adventure--really it couldn't have been more perfect, from your great hosts, photogenic bears and the float plane drama, which made an exciting story, as bad experiences generally do!
Jealous Dear Craig, thoroughly enjoying your Alaskan tour and blog - your photos are breathtaking. Looking forward to hearing about camping with the bears! cheers Debbie
Hi Craig, loving your blog and tips especially skipping the train and hiring a car instead in Skagway as we were considering doing the train trip and yes "expensive". Safe travels cheers Debbie
Yes, you are getting some great photos. Very jealous. I hope you can post a complete itinerary to your trip. It sounds like I would mimic the exact trip one day. I'll ask for Emmanuel of course! Take care and keep up the good blogging.
Hello Great to here you guys are having an excellent time, we are all enjoying reading your blogs. Good luck meeting the gorillas!
Rodd, Rach and the boys.
I Guess We're not in Kansas city "Toto" Hi boys - more amazing travel tales from C&R in SA - and talking about SA (intelligent buttocks) am loving R's witty one liners and C's reference to Woy Woy fire station. Any mention of Kilimanjaro and I break into Toto's song "Africa" which seems totally appropriate, as there is no song pertaining to Woy Woy fire station, though there may be one about firemen done by the Village People!! Hope you both travel safely and remember when you see the apes - "small number....large hole" he he he.
Mozzie Bites? So I'm over being jealous and wanting photos. Here's hoping you both are covered in mozzie bites and are itchy. ;P (I spent days in Peru hoping to see a Jaguar and it never arrived. Guess I was in the wrong part of town)
Love the comment " Well, Smiddy, I'm sure your wordsmith powers will not be able to fully describe how fucking vile that feijoada was." And indeed words fail me, so I leave the final comment to the pejorative from Ross above.
Humming a little song Thanks for the blog. I'm cooking paella and singing a few songs from the 70s to celebrate your fantastic lifestyle! Wish I was you. All that eating and drinking in famous places sounds like something that I should be doing. Instead I'm enduring August in Canberra. Rain one week. -5C the next. :(
Hugs to you both. I need more photos please.
I'm an Australian guy with a passion for traveling. I am especially interested in nature. My aim is to see the "main" animal species in the wild and the "major world sights" and by the time I retire. (Not when I retire - life is too short !) My blogs are a mix of information and a bit of comedy - the latter largely provided by my long term traveling companion. The blogs are also a record for me myself, so I can read them with a smile when I am old and grey. Enjoy.... full info
