The architecture edition because I just realized all my pics are of buildings, walls, and ceilings (and the token "hey, will you take my picture for me?" photo). Oh well. In 2006, Provence is where I hit the hot zone, this year it’s Granada. It’s about 100 degrees. I guess this is good preparation for Africa. I only had one full day in Granada, so today was power tourist day. First stop was the Alhambra. WOW! I mentioned in my last entry that I wouldn’t want to live in a dingy old palace that’s crammed with a bunch of antiques, but the Alhambra . . . this is an old place where I could definitely plant myself here for a while.
