Love the view
I love the photos from your clump. I commend you both, I am not sure that I would make myself climb in what appears a very confined space towards the top! Your lunch sounds wonderful! Dinner looked like a small feast or banquet how do you enjoy more than a few bites? It looks like a wonderful day!

A Dickens celebration
Lahsooni charcoal grilled turkey breast!!! What an excellent idea! How was it seasoned. I so love turkey, much better flavor than chicken, say me cells. Must try this but get the seasoning down, eh? Beets?
I had no clue there were yellow beets. I like the traditional red kind so I'd be willing to try the yellows. Do you know how they compare in flavor or texture? And yes, I would never choose to eat beets day after day, but they can be good sautéed with garlic and liberally sprinkled with fresh ground pepper.
