So lately when Chris leaves, and actually just about everyday, he gives me a list of things to do. I can never even complete the things on the list when he gives me a new one. I’m officially his slave and everyone thinks it’s ridiculous how much work I have to do when I am supposedly working 35 hours a week and how I should be getting paid more for the extra work. ANY how. Whatever its only a few more weeks.. kind of. One of the days last week at 8 pm it was 95 degress!! This past weekend I went with the Canadian girl, Amanda, and a German girl, Carina, to Mornington a city like 10 minutes away. We had a lot of fun and we able to hang out during the day and ... read more

Last Friday Jay had his orientation at school … Friday night we rented a movie and order some take-away Thai. Saturday I WENT SURRRRRRFFFFING!!!!! Ahhhh it was so lovely! I hadn’t been surfing in salt water in nearly 2 years!!! We first tried to go to Gunnamatta and the waves were CRAZY! Its where they hold a lot the surf competitions (there and Bells Beach on the Great Ocean Road) and its slightly frightening, but then we found a little beach with some 3-5 foot waves and im already planning on going there Saturday ☺ I met some Americans in the bottle shop and we invited them to join us at a bbq over at Chris’ brother and sister-in-laws house. (the one that’s 6 floors and over looks the bay, it was a beautiful sunset!) We ... read more

So my weekend was SPLENDID !!!!!!!!! I took the train by myself back to the city and I met up with Reggie (my old professor) we were waiting for Kara and Kelsey (who didn’t get in to Melbourne until almost midnight because they were flying standby) so we had dinner on the Yarra river in the city. Reggie got us all a hotel room at the Langham - it was extravagant! I don’t know why anyone would spend that much on a hotel room but hey it was free for me. Once the girls got there we went to a pub across the street for some live music. Saturday I took them to St. Kilda to see the suburb, its located on the bay and has a really nice beach. They went to the tennis (Australian ... read more

So ive just returned from a wonderful time on these people’s boat (ones that I met at the BBQ) they’ve got 4 kids between 10 and 13 years old but they are beautiful children!! And so much fun! Their boat was absolutely glorious! and they had a separate one we took water skiing and I tried wakeboarding (it had been ages since I did it) it was fun and hard and I’m sore. So the Mom, oh goodness she’s wonderful - since I got here I have been surrounded by beautiful people and to be honest I’ve noticed that that isn’t very common, I caught her saying crikey!!!! That will just send my Mom and brother into a fit of laughter. Someone other than the crocidile hunter said it!! Had a bonfire on the beach and ... read more

Thursday night Chris’ brother and sister in law come over for a few drinks and just to catch up and what not. His brother is awesome, he SURFS!!! And his wife is absolutely lovely! They have 4 children that goes to the same Peninsula Grammar Jay will start at 1st February (THANK THE LORD). Apparently Chris’ brother was one of the most successful investment bankers in Australia and he is now retired, at the ripe old age of 44. Their house, is bananas. It is bigger than my high school and its 6 floors. One floor is Sue’s closet, aka her dressing room, and it’s pretty well stocked, don’t mind if I do. So jay and I head to Metung. They booked us first class and we lost the reservation # so we had to buy ... read more

Hello all, Sorry I haven’t updated this yet, I’ve been a bit busy and internet time is sort of scarce and not very cheap… so I wont be individually emailing everyone very much but you can see what im up to by checking out this website! So the trip was long but went well. The long flight was quite possibly the worst flight I had ever been on... the turbulence was EXTREME and I thought for certain we were going down and it was going to be all over the news, I prayed for 14 hours straight. But I certainly survived and am glad I will not be on a flight that long for quite some time ;) Chris is really nice, Jay is 5 and much like other 5 year olds. He is kinda spoiled ... read more
