Himalayan Spiritual Walk

A two week 200 km spiritual walk in the Himalayas to the source of the river Ganga, Gomuk and a beautiful trek along the old pilgrimage route from Gangotri to Kedarnath. This journey will combine travel by bus/car from Rishikesh upto the motorable base camps/villages and further distances will be covered by walking in the high mountains.

I have been walking in the Himalayas for at least two months every year over a period of seventeen years. I have led several walks accompanied by students, teachers, peace and social activists from different parts of the world. I do this to raise awareness of deep ecology, to experience the spirit of rivers and mountains and to advocate the need education of the poor and underprivileged children all over the world.... full info
