Love the hydrangea flowers-all of the photos were fantastic! And it sounds like the cloudy, misty effect was nice for when you were hiking-it enhanced the experience I guess you could say. Your hotel looked lovely. The name of that trumpet flower is on the tip of my tongue but it won't come to me but Tom grew it one year here. I will have to ask him what the name is. I am sure that it's a very good thing you couldn't see out the window on that bus ride! The equivalent to a white-knuckle airplane ride I bet.
yes even I can get too much of a good thing;) I'm not really sure how to get a photo of me zip lining, if I do it since Barb and her friend Mary will likely do it as well. But I'll see what I can do! Let me know your thoughts after reading about some of that different kind of housing!
So even you can eat too many raw onions and garlic???!! Who would have thought it was possible.
Your trip sounds wonderful and if you do the zip lines, I HAVE to have a picture of that!!!
I have never heard of that type of housing. Will google it.
And will take a look at those tours you mentioned. Love you!!! me
oh dear forgot to mention the garlic... I added lots. Both fresh & powdered! I ate almost that whole bowl with chips and it sure loosened things up this morning! But it was worth it!
I am impressed that you ate all that breakfast!! Wow.
I was glad to hear that you were able to find someone that could replace your contacts-so you brought along extra lenses I guess?? Were they really bothering you?
Hope you like Mariana's!
they are pretty aren't they.... We didn't see much of Grecia but from what I saw I don't think I like it better than Atenas...it's bigger with more traffic and a tad cooler. Of course anywhere in Costa Rica you just go up in elevation a little and you can control how much cooler/colder you want it. Most of the nicer homes are up in the hills.
Love the photos of the painted carts-very pretty. Since the roads are twisty-turny, do you get car sick? Your breakfast sounds so good! So what did you think of Grecia? Like it as much as Atenas? Is it as warm there? Love You!!!
Did the air smell good after the rain? It does here when it's warm and humid.
Glad you found a belt! Have you lost so much weight that you needed one?
Have a nice trip to Grecia-I know it's a town that you were interested in. Love you!
she's paying... $1,100 per month so to me that's expensive! I do like being in town so I can walk everywhere and don't have to rely on taxis or people with cars to get me to town. A two hour drive with mom..great! You both deserved the donut! No one else has mentioned anything about having problems with the photos I post on my blog....you're the lucky one ;)
The photos are LOVELY! What a view! Is it expensive? Your upcoming trips sound wonderful! Have fun.
When I click on the individual photos, they don't display right-it's a tiny vertical 'thing', not the whole thing. Has anyone else mentioned this? This isn't the first time I have come across this with your blog. BUT that being said, don't worry about it because I can see them on the page above where I am putting this comment.
I spent that afternoon with mom. I have an appt. for her next Tuesday with her psychiatrist. We took a 2 hour country drive!!! We stopped and got a plain donut for a 'snack' and we gobbled them down. Love you! Oh, it got warm today, up to 45˚!!! Still lots of snow around and colder temps coming.....
To get away from the cold dry winter weather in Central Oregon I'll be spending two months in Costa Rica from January 9 - March 9 2010 and thought doing a travel blog would be a fun and efficient way to let my family & friends know what I'm doing and experiencing in the land of La Pura Vida. ... full info
