08 04 2010. Woke up to blazing sunshine and decided after breakfast to catch the ferry from McMahon’s point to Darling Bay. The trip was fantastic with a great view of the Harbour and Bay for us to survey and get our bearings; we had no known plans but wanted to stroll around the area as all was new to us. Darling Harbour is the gateway to places of interest, shops, museums, parks and gardens. We decided to go and look around the Chinese Gardens of friendship which happened to have a culture day on with Chinese dancing, marital arts, music and art work.
