Now then Amanda dont you go playing with Chris' digery doo too much, you know he likes playing with it all by his self.
Very excited about our plans, extenstion starts on Saturday, so it might be finished by the time you get back.
Went shopping with your mum to the Trafford Centre last night, i(probably wont go with her again!!) got home and she couldnt get into her car, the alarm wouldnt turn off,so had to call AA (Very nice man), finally left getting on midnight. Bought some nice shorts and cropped pants for my trip to Canada, cant beleive its only 8 weeks away. Joe has got a couple of concerts before then, in Sheffield, Bristol and the Bridgewater, oh he is such a celebrity, going to have his photo in the paper, but only the local one. Have had a lovely week of weather this week, very hot, about 23 degrees, but going to rain at weekend. Peter is off to watch the cup final with the lads on Saturday afternoon, so I go with the children to see grandma and grandad, then on Sunday afternoon family bowling session, followed by tasty tea. Diet going a bit wobbly at the moment, although have lost 10 pounds. speak to you soon lota luv cathy xx
hi dear amanda and chris you really sound as if you are in crocodile dundee country with only the kangeroos to keep you company are you sure it wasnt chris who was the boozy one shouting and cheering at the jukebox dont forget we know what he is like.
Good decision New Zealand is cool so you won't regret it, if you need an advice re nice bars etc let me know (when you're in Auckland), in particular theres a good cocktail bar near the Viaduct/Harbour area with 2 for 1 offers on tues or wed nights). Also a bar made completely of ice.
Can't remeber its name at the mo, will try and remember!
thongs ooohhhh amanda and chris the very thought of chafeing thongs brought tears to my eyes especially before i had had my breakfast, wear them well and we want a demo when you get home.
te he he I am really enjoying your tales, the last one in singapore really made me laugh.
Had a nice bank holiday weekend, just got a patio heater so all huddled under that on Saturday after Barby, trying to convince ourselves it was really warm.
If you get too much money towards your emerald necklace you could always buy your favourate aunty one!!!
Have fun
Love
Cathy
Hiya mate! Hello - sounds like still going well and having lots of fun - how long do you have in Australia - and presume it's then lovely New Zealand!
Looking forward to more blogging -
love Catherine
thank you for keeping us laughing - your mail is always the first thing I open. sounds like you are having a great time - Amanda - we have concluded here that you have been wasted as an administrator and should go into food journalism with a specialism in pizza - maybe you should write a book when you get back.
Well it sounds as though you are managing to keep yourselves entertained!! Just make sue that those sweets are really sweets and nothing else! Carry on enjoying!! Julie x
Great journal guys - well done Was bored at work today - came across this site, hence your journal - was intriged to see where and what you guys did next! - lovely writing - Cheers - Sammie
Hello Sounds like you are both having a fantastic time, although dont know when you get the time to write so much. How many suitcases will you be bringing home with you? How long are you in KL for? Weather here hasnt been too bad, seems to be picking up have had 2 barbies, although still a wee chilly. am buying a patio heater tomorrow, bet you we have a brill summer and never use it! oh well. Have a nice couple of weeks off at Easter, cant wait now till May 1/2 term, off to the Lakes with Dave and Justine and children, in caravans so should be good fun. Think we have a date for starting the extension, 22 May ish. Although Chris have decided now want Velux windows, so have to sweet talk the Building regs people.
Have fun and am enjoying reading your comments, do this mean a book will be published on your return? Cant wait for the slide show.
Take Care
Luv
Aunty Cathy (ha ha)
Looking Good Really glad to hear everything going well, we are not jealous of the sunshine and heat because we had sun today at home and it was nearly 16 degrees haha. Keep on blogging because it does brighten up our day to image where you are. Take care

KL Hey, sorry I missed you on msn. Had a minor crisis as had to take mark to hospital last night so was looking after him this morning - not that he needed it. You might be staying right near where we were staying cos we were only a short walk from the bus station as well - we also walked to that china town market thingy. It's so weird that you'll be seeing things that we saw, kind of like we're their with you. Trying and get some dodgey guy to drive you around the city like we did - it wasn't too expensive. Looking forward to piccies.
Another good idea Just an idea to solve the camera possibly being stolen when u ask someone to take a piccy. Attach a wire to the camera and keep it in ur hand then no thieving. Looks V nice anyway and Im glad to hear your trying something new to eat like pizza instead of rice very extravegant.
Wish I was with you! Instead I'm stuck doing loads of uni work - grrrr! Too much work for my liking I need a holiday, so instead have a cocktail for me and make the most of every opportunity -
love Catherine x
HOLA, Very impressed by the pictures, it all looks beautiful and you dont seem to be roughing it at all!!!Life in Shef going ok, job good, the other week had lunch with Jean Christophe Novelli (the french chef out of hells kitchen!!) Am still waiting for a postcard, have cleared a space on the fridge. Have you caught dysentry yet? Take care, love Vic
