Wecome back Hi
I am pleased you both had a great time over the 3 months. I have been very envious of you both, as I have been reading your blogs, from my boring desk at work.
Hope to meet up soon, to catch up and for you to tell me ALL about what you could not write on the blob !!!!
Love
Barrie
Blighty!!!! Hey!!!! I can't believe you're on your way back already!!!! Sounds like the adventure of a lifetime and I will expect several days worth of photos to see when I see you guys! Have fun on the flight and...welcome home!!!! : ) Lots of love, Jojo and Pete xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Well, I can't believe how fast your journey has gone!! Hope you are both keeping really well - hope to catch up when you return! Hope you can bring some heat with you from somewhere!! Julie x
nice photos hi there , very nice photos . I guess the place where you had your dinner was at the " Long beach Cafe " . I been there before and i had took some nice photos as well , will post them online soon . The prices of the food pretty expensive i think , but they are very delivious and so many tourists having their food and beer at there . At night , there is a night market along the road . So many stalls like Cd/DvDs , ornaments like watches , bags , ear rings ...and house decorations .
great pics this time chris i really like your new style beard -greeny/blue i hiope this one stays on till you get home -- it may be abit softer for amanda
Helllloooooooooooooo! : ) Hey!!! Pants news about Mount Doom being covered in rain! I hope you manage to see it next time! Let us know what the Maori experience is like - sounds like fun! We went to an Aboriginee experience in Australia and my dad and I got the giggles during their dance and nearly had to leave! Haha! My poor mum!!!!
Sounds like New Zealand is stunning and that you're having a lovely relaxing time! : ) I agree with you about the Da Vinci code...Wafer and I went to see it the other day and thought it wasn't as exciting as the book.
Anway, when are you off to Fiji? Keep the blogs coming....it's lovely to hear about what you're doing!
Lots and lots of love Jojo (and Pete) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
hi sounds like you are still managing to have a good time. We are missing you here. Weather nice but that means office hot and stuffy as usual! Geoff will be leaving at the end of the month so that will be a good excuse for a lunchtime outing. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Take care
i am a little disapointed that you dont seem to have found any hobbits yet but i would always settle for legaless, it really does look beautiful there and you seem to be seeing a good selection of things
Sick Sick, both of us!!!! Totally sick with envy. New Zealand looks out of this world. I can't wait 'til you come back and show us all the photies and tell us all the stories. You'll be talking non stop for a couple of weeks I reckon. Poppy is very much looking forward to meeting you - she can't wait to be spoilt - we are very mean to her!!! In fact she is sitting with me as I write this trying to eat Marks key board and desk. We're off to scotland again next week and get back the day you get back. You're missing some really nice weather here at the moment its been about 25 degrees for the last 4 days and is set to be like this at least until sunday - but i'm sure you don't really care!! Take you you jammy devils. Love Bark
Hi Amanda and Chris, its been great coming home after a hard day at work and reading your exciting journals and looking enviously on at the pictures.
You are both living the dream! and good luck to you. All I can offer you is Big Brother and Celebrity X Factor, WOW.
Take care x
yes still here hi all, have just returned from holidaying in the lake district had a really good time, although peter is off work at the mo with a really bad tummy has lost 10lbs in 3 days, perhaps he should breathe on me!!!
Came home to a large erection in the back garden it is really coming on and bob (the builder - real name Pete) thinks it should be ready by end of month, did i tell you we are having slopey roof in the room with 2 velux windows.
it is absolutely boiling here at the moment and has been lovely since last Thursday, and is supposed to be getting hotter. We are going to a bbq for the first England game on Saturday, will you be watching it anywhere?
Grandma and Grandad have gone to Aunty Rita's till Friday, all is well with them, Grandad is having his eye done at end of the month - cant think of the name, you know ah just remember cateracts, and Grandma is having a boob job, only kidding am feeling a bit giddy and its 9.30 in the morning, must stop putting vodka on cornflakes.
Carry on enjoying yourselves and take care. looking forward to seeing you and the slide show (should we bring sleeping bags - ha ha)
Really good... Hey Chris and Amanda!
Have been reading your blog from the start, it sounds (and looks!) like you're having a fantastic time. The camper looks cool, although I bet it doesn't handle quite as well as the Mini, maybe a road trip to New Zealand one day with the Mini club (praps not...)
Oh well, take care, and I look forward to seeing more blogs as you continue!
Tom :-)
The shorts you sent have arrived and they are very nice and they fit!! Thank you very much for them they will come in really handy over the summer hols!
Big Balls These wonderful geological formations are in fact concretions made over millions of years, when calcium cardonate gradually formed layers over something, like a shell or a little stone (which you might find at the centre of the boulders). There you have it a massive limestone snowball kind of thingy!!!
Wow How jealous am I???????? That place looks amazing, I'm going to start saving my pennies right now so I can go there. What an amazing place!!! Please send lots of photos of this one. I like the camper van, am I right? Is it called "Britz" - not conspicuous at all, very subtle!!!! Hope you keep enjoying,
Love your incredibly envious sis!!!
hi de hi Hi folks, got your postcard yesterday, looks beautiful.
We are off today on our sunny hols (dont think so) to the very sunny hot Lake District for a week in a caravan with Peter's brother and family, should be fun (apart from the weather) it's pouring down today.
Our erection in the back garden is coming on and i'm sure i'll be suprised when i return next week with a sun tan on the size of it!!!!
Have fun and will write when back off hols.
lots of love
Cathy and co.
Far Out! Fair Dincum and Dingoes!!!! Aaah! Can't believe you saw the Neighbours Mecca!!! I'm so so impressed! I wouldn't be embarassed -it's the first place I wouild go if I ever went to Melbourne!!!! Imagine watching it now, knowing that you've been there! Amazing!!!!
I'm also very very impressed by your pizza extravaganza the other day...or week (time is disappearing!). we'll have to try to re-enact it when you get home!!!
Also loving the koalas! Can you bring one back? : ) You could take it for walks and spray a tree with eucalyptus oil so it felt at home!
I bet you're looking forward to New Zealand! It'll be amazing.
Lots of love to you both, Jojoxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
P.S. I saw 'Going Round The Twist' the other day! Can;t believe you saw the lighthouse! Wicked!!! : )
hi you two i think all your photos on this blog must have been taken in the dark as they are all black -- just the title there maybe it is me and i am doing something wrong -- very likely
We have set this site up to keep family and friends up to date on our 'Round the world' trip which we are taking this April! This is our first backpacking experience, but are sure that we will love it - hopefully it won't be our last!... full info
