Mekong Delta

Today we got up early to head out of the city and to the Mekong Delta, something that I had been looking forward to quite a lot. We began with a boat ride to our first Island, where we transfered into smaller paddled boats through some of the smaller canals, which was fantastic, and so so serene, all that was to be heard was the lady paddling. After lunch we headed down a slightly bigger canal on our ferry stopping along the way to see a coconut candy factory (which was quite tasty), and then for a musical performance, and if you so desired the opportunity to hold a snake or some bees, and opportunity that I was glad to miss.
