Here a gastronomical discovery in from south east asia, it is called Jackfruit. Outside is green and spiky, at least the sice of a watermelon sometimes bigger than a pumpkin. It hangs from a very ordinary tree. When you cut it, you see a center that is not eatable, around it there are some kid of orange fleshy parts, they cover each seed, and the fleshy part is itself covered with other whiter and harder strings, that are only eatable if the Jackfruit is very ripe. The orange fleshy part tastes like something in between mango and peach, and it may be addictive. There is also the chip version of the Jackfruit, just dried ones, is also quite good and when you pop the bag, there is no stop.

If you see them in Vietnam-Shop at home, just try it.
