Des under the waterfall on the way from Dalat
Nha Trangis a beautiful beach city, with lots of hotels opposite the beach and a lot more under construction,
Everything was alright until we went for a walk in the evening and while waiting next to the medium strip in the middle of the crossing there was a 3 motor bike accident and 1 of the motor bikes that fell over came skidding towards us and hit Des and knocked me over on to the medium strip luckily I landed on grass, but Des has a badly bruised right calf and a few cuts, we were helped by some friendly people in a nearby restraunt who rang our hotel and our guide Ting came to find us and walked back to our hotel with us, which was nearly 1 klm away Des wanted to walk to see how he was it was slow going buy he made it. The next day we went for a boat trip to Miew Island it is a fishing village, we had a ride in a tub boat which is made of bark and put together with tar and cow manure!!!. It was a lovely little village and we walked through it and then went into

the Aquarium which is also on the island, then we went back in our boat over to another island and went snorkling and swimming in the deep water, it was beautiful in the water, it was very salty and easy to keep afloat. On the boat there was a lady who would do a manicure, pedicure and foot and leg massage, what a great idea as you were a captive audience, it was only 280,000 dong for Des and I. about $20 AUD
We went back to the mainland and then drove to the summer palace for lunch on the top floor, it was a lovely buffet lunch, Then back to our hotel for a relaxing afternoon around the pool. We did not go for a walk that night!!!!! Next day we were off to Hoi An by plane and had to leave our hotel at 6am for our flight it only took 1 hour, We flew into Darnang and then drove to Hoi An It was so hot we went straight into the pool, in the afternoon we went on a walking tour of the city, and on the Japanese covered bridge and around the little streets full of

shops mostly tailors wanting you to come in and get measured for clothes. It was extremely hot about 38deg. then back for another swim. Yesterday was at our leasure and we went into town after about 1 hour Des had had enough and went back to the resort, I wandered around for about 4 hours and decided to have a top made, by the time I got back to the resort about 1.30pm I was exhausted and went in for a swim, the water is a bit too warm even for me!!! My top was supposed to be bought to the hotel about 2 pm when it had not arrived by 3.30 I decided to go back and get it, so I walked back to the shop and it was ready, I did some more shopping on the way back and then got a ride back on the back of a motor cycle only cost 30,000 dong just over $2AUD. In the evening we went on a boat along the river for 1 hour and then into the town for a cooking class and dinner, then a little bit more shopping on the walk back then a swim and to
