Hi readers, Our first day in Saigon which as we realise it is called Saigon by everyone. Ho Chi Minh is the name given to the city in 1976 about to remind everyone who Ho Chi Minh was but used only on official things not by the people on the street. This room was for women only, it’s the fertility room. The young women go here to pray for a child or what sex child they want etc

Notre Dame Cathedral. Hundreds of people were here everywhere just hanging around or sitting in groups.

And over the road is the old post office known as the central P.O. A very large building in French architecture

Inside the main room a postal counter down the middle. Beautiful ceilings and a large portrait of Ho Chi Minh hanging. Around the outside wall are other separate counters

A new modern twist on the old telephone boxes. They still have the working clocks from around the world on top but the boxes them selves and now ATMs.
