Invited out for dinner ...

We have been invited out for dinner today at George & Wan's who are killing one of their ducks especially. I take Jai over in the morning to help with the preparations then leave them to it.
Bike back just after 11:00 to find that they are ahead of the game and the food is nearly ready. Its not often that we eat duck but when we do I really enjoy what they do with it - laap. The cooks enjoy a couple of small bottles of BA wine whilst working. When we leave for home we bring enough for lunch tomorrow as well.
Probably the hottest afternoon since I got back here.
I dig another piece of garden this evening and Jai plants out some red onions and a couple of types of cabbage. By the time the cabbage is big enough to need moving I should have got around to digging the rest of the patch - maybe.
