Jai starts the day off by selling some limesto the post office opposite.Bike into Phon Thong for the Saturday market. As this is my penultimate Saturday we are stocking Jai up with stuff she can't get in the village.On the way back to Khamnadie we encounter dark clouds, winds and more thunder. Just thinking it is another false alarm when, about 10mins after we get back, it actually starts to rain. It's not exactly a storm but it does last a couple of hours and makes everything wet.We had already decidedto have the weekend off from the farm but the rain would have made up our minds for us. Instead we bike out to Jai's cassava farm to check up on progress which is very slow.
