Rain ?

Wake up in the early hours to find that it is raining. This is the first rain of any description since the middle of October last year and as such it is certainly welcome.
We wake in the morning to find that it has stopped but that it is probably too wet to go to the farm.
I was intending to go into Phon Thong tomorrow to deal with my surgeon's correspondence but bring this forward and go this morning instead. I sit with a coffee outside the house and watch a dodgy sky wondering if it is a good idea to go into town but go anyway.
As we skipped the farm this morning we go out for a couple of hours this evening instead when it has all dried up again.
