The fire has kept smoldering all night and there is little remaining this morning.
It is a cold one today, coldest so far, so it is out with a fleece for my ride into Phon Thong. Everyone here seems to have a cold at the moment. Jai is coughing all of the time and so far I have just got a runny nose but it is only a matter of time before man flu arrives. Judging by the number of patients who are turning up every evening now the doctor opposite loves this change of season.
Receive e-mil giving me the go-ahead to carry out some family research for someone so make a start.
It was cold on the way into town but is beautiful and fresh on the way back. Arrive to find the back garden filled with laundry out drying.
Afternoon we go to the farm. The bamboo that I cut a month or so back has started shooting again so it will need to be burnt fairly quickly before the new growth takes over again. I cut down a few more trees whilst Jai looks around for things to eat - her favourite sort of 'shopping'.
