What surprises does today have in store for me is my breakfast thought.
Mid-morning relatives Begat, Dom, Dair and the devil child - yes, no school again today - arrive to help with preparing the pillow bundles for presents and wrapping a few other things. It is traditional to give pillows at most parties ? There arent too many of them between four people but it is still mid-afternoon by the time they have finished.
Jai had collected plates, dishes and a few other things from the temple earlier so now we need to wash them all.
We also look out bedding and different curtains for the spare bedroom to make that look nice for them
Not looking hopeful on the marquee front ...
