Up at 02:45 to watch England 0v1 Germany ... same old, same old ...
To the farm as usual after breakfast and stay for a couple of hours. Feeling good this morning and thought about staying longer but dont want to push my luck. There are just a couple of fields left to cut now. Once the rice is cut it is laid out in bunches in rows behind the cutter. Jai's brother is now going around and tying up the bunches that have had a few days to dry right out. This makes them easier to transport to the field where they will do the threshing.
I put up some bamboocanes around the small tomatoes and water the garden before returning to the farm mid afternoon for another couple of hours.
When we get back to the house George and Wan are waiting for us. Wan has completed the stitching on a nother couple of Jai's mats and she leaves with a handful of cabbage and cauliflower plants for their garden.
