Day of rest ... ?

When you are doing next to nothing every day it is difficult to identify any one day as a day of rest but ... it is Sunday.
It actually quickly becomes a day of work as it is dry and the sun is out.
I clear all of the long grass from the side of the house and cut down a big tree at the front. It is only when the tree is lying on the floor that I discover a birds nest with five small eggs amongst the leaves. Sorry !!!! A 'creature' has also set up home in the flower bushes along our front wall and is eating the leaves. I hack these down to wall height and hopefully have stopped the problem. All of todays cuttings are then carried round to the back where they are sucessfully burnt.
