Monk Day

It is a 'monk day' today so Jai is off to the village temple early to feed them. Sounds like a trip to the zoo but ... We are up just after 05:00 so that she can start preparing food. It is after 09:00 when she gets back and as I have already started work in thegarden we postpone our trip in to Phon Thong. Notreally sure why we were going anyway.
With a few short breaks I work all day until late afternoon. Erect some new bamboo railings for the orchids and move the bamboo we have right along the garden for the washing as this is now overgrown by the lime tree.
After our evening meal we go to visit Jai's nephew Jaek and his new wife Boo at her parents house. He is only here every other weekend as he is in the army working near Bangkok.
Set the alarm for 23:15 as Thai TV3 are showing football; Sunderland v Liverpool tonight. Dont remember them ever showing a league game before so perhaps they have a different agreement this year and we may get to see some more footie.
