Poor Disco Volante has been abandoned in Malta for a few months. We decided to 'run for the sun' and take her out onto the hard standing in Malta while we head to warmer climates for a couple of months. Our sailing adventure so far... We have been building the 'Disco Volante' since 2005. It started off as the imagination of a Naval Architect, but now it's finished! Helen (Who lives on Koh Phagnan) took us out for an amazing table BBQ all you can eat restaurant. 4 quid all in! We also met up with our friend Becca and her boyfriend Oli who we know from London.

We had to take a water taxi to this beach, not as deserted as it once was, but still very pretty

The weather was rubbish, but still very warm. Cocktails and a swim were in order..

Met some crazy Canadians that we kidnapped for a night out in Koh Tao.

We met an ex-pat from England who had this genius idea for a floating bar behind the reef in Chaweng beach. It was windy that day but we solidiered on for the 3-4-2 mojitos which were great.

We walked from Chaweng to Lamai beach on an overcast day, you can just about see Grandmother & Grandfather rock in the background. (It started ti rain about 2 mins after we took this!)
