We haves finished the northern Thailand portion of our journey and decided to head into Laos. The travel agency tried to get us to buy a package to get into
Laos but we have figured it out. We just got the bus tickets and decided to pay as we go. Turns out we saved a lot of money and most of the rest of the tourists bought a package deal. We stayed at the border that night.
