Into Laos

Our origional plan entering Laos was to go to the northern city on Luang Prabang. We changed our minds and decided to head a little more north to the town of Luang Namtha. We had hopes of going on a really good trek as the last one wasn't fully up to our expectations. Luang Namtha is more remote and right next to a large protected park.

When we crossed the border we found out that Canadians get charged more than any other country for a Laos visa. Not very fair in my opinion especially considering how friendly we are 😊. Other than that it was a travel day with a stop at a couplearkets and temples along the way.
