Just to explain, the Thai use "same same but different" when dealing with tourists' questions. As this doesn't make sense if not fully explained it confuses (and very often frustrates) foreigners e.g. why are you telling me that the tour you're offering today is same same but different to that tour tomorrow?!. it means 'Yes, something kind of similar to that, but not the exactly s... this is how much we enjoyed!!! renting a motorbike is the best way to explore islands in Thailand, there are no buses and tuk-tuk drivers usually try to rip you off

girls could easily spend an entire day in such a place (naturally my restless nature didn't allow me and i would have to go for a swim ,snorkel or just a walk - just to be doing something), girls know what a nuisance i was with my permanently itchy feet..

i knew these guys from New Zealand (Jacko, Leigh and Mal) as we had been travelling together (those who follow my blogs should recognise them). (I met Aby - right, in Cookies) I was shocked when one day i saw them checking into the same resort on the island with 1000 other resorts(I just knew they were staying on a next-door island). what are the odds?!

on a tiny gorgeous island just off Koh Phangang (you can walk to get there as water is shallow in the point joining the two islands). This island is said to have the great snorkelling but i was unlucky as visibility had been really bad since some time and i couldn't even find this "amazing" snorkelling spot....

this wasn't on the actual full moon night (21st March). The party was moved by 3 days because of a Buddhist celebration and then because of political elections in the country. When it happens all sorts of alcohol are banned from selling, so people can't party.....
