"They're everywhere!" doesn't quite some it up, it was like the film, the birds, but with monkeys. I thought they were quite nice and friendly although Helen was wary of their evil stares and threatening advances. First I shall explain that we are still in a parachuap kiri khan, because we have a nice cheap place today with people who do our laundry for peanuts. Today we decided to climb Khao Chong Krajok (mirror tunnel Mountain) (or Monkey mountain). It is topped by a wat (temple) with spectacular views. The guide book claims the clan monkeys which reside here hitched a ride into town on a bus from Bangkok to pick up some mangos. Helen thought there were no monkeys.
