Saturday May 2nd 2009 Ko Tao
Those Changs like to let you know how many you had the night before so woke with a bit of a banging head. Had planned on maybe doing a dive today but don’t think my brain could have handled the water pressure on it so decided to give it a miss. Also the outside heat doesn’t seem too appealing when you are a bit worse for wear. Headed out for a late breakfast at lunch time. Had a look around the shops too and Mary bought a new dress and we decided to head for massages. Wasn’t the most relaxing experience of our lives, it sounded like Mary was getting slapped around the place while I was getting pile drived with elbows into my back. Felt kind of good afterwards though. Seemed to sap energy from us though so we headed back to the room and read our books for the afternoon.

Raised ourselves for dinner again and headed to the bar with a millions different lanterns then headed up to Choppers in hope to see the Leinster v Munster Heineken Cup semi final. Arrived there about 11 and the place was packed. There were about 6 premiership games on but they were all coming to an end so I was pretty hopeful that we’d get the game. But then come 11.30pm the place had emptied out and they decided to shut up. No where else on the island would have been showing the game either so had to concede that I was going to miss this glorious victory. Better get to see the final
