We were very excited about this morning because the buffet breakfast was included with our accommodation...and what an amazing breakfast it was too...we couldn’t really do it justice, but we sure gave it our best shot! There were many different kinds of fruit to choose from, toast and a range of Danish pastries, a chef cooking eggs just how you wanted it- scrambled, fried, boiled, poached or as an omelette, made as you wait, bacon, sausage, spaghetti, waffles, pancakes, rice, and more! We both had bacon and eggs, and waffles....and we could hardly move. It was a great place to check out the other guests too...we nanaged to work out who belonged to who, wo was the dad, the uncle, the wife, which child belonged to which mum and what country they came from etc...lots of fun! Rachel decided our backpack was a good place to store a little extra breakfast (for lunch), after all we had paid for as much as we wanted with the accommodation! So oh so subtly she wrapped and popped croissants and Danish pastries into the backpack!
Then off we went to the beach and hired our umbrellas and sun loungers for 100 baht each. It’s a much

tuk tukin with the sounds pumpin nicer beach than Patong beach cos there were only two rows of chairs and umbrellas, with walking space in between, whereas Patong had HEAPs of rows with very little room for standing inbetween! It wasn’t particularly sunny weather, the forecast was right for once. The clouds got blacker and blacker and finally the rain came. So we swam and then sat under the sun umbrella until went! The water was so warm. We listened to the Australian tennis . Rach entered a question online on the Australian open tennis phone ap, and a few mins later we heard “Rachel Stewart is lying on a beach in Thailand, and she wants to know...” Ha Ha! It was awesome, being featured on radio tennis broadcast that was going world wide!
We strolled back to the resort (up the steep road) early afternoon and had a strawberry milkshake each to go with our ‘stolen’ lunch at pool. The Thai waiter at the pool isjust lovely, he smiles lots and as soon as he sees us leave our sun loungers, he flicks the pool bar TV onto the aussie open tennis for us! After watching a bit more tennis we caught a taxi

my milkyway mocha! to sweet lemongrass massage (another of my xmas pressies from my girl), it was AMAZING! So professional, real massage tables rather than just beds on the ground, soft music playing, lovely ladies, cheap awesome massage, soft lighting, and a cup of lemongrass tea at the end! It’s just on a lil back road that we would never have found if it wasn’t for Trip Advisor! Well worth the effort of getting there, def want to go back again! We caught a taxi to jung Ceylon (which was only a few mins away) and we shared chicken hawaiian pizza and milkyway iced mocha. We did a little bit of shopping in the markets (as you do) looking for bag, mum bought watch (after trying on at least 50 in the last few days!)and some headphones cos Rach somehow lost hers. We met an awesome kiwi language speaking thai man so we bought a cheap singlet off him. Home by about 11pm, cos my ear still really blocked and quite sore tonight. Might need to do something about it tomorrow. The thai people reckon the candle ear wax treatment is a winner.
