Today we had got tickets for a boat trip around 4 islands and to do a spot of snorkling.............. it cost around 12 pounds for the day.

We were picked up at 8.15pm!!!!! We got a little ferry from the port at the little town we had visited yesterday................................

There are infact loads of little islands surrounding Koh Lanta which I didn't know about........... we visited Ko Ngai, Ko Cheuk, Ko Kradan and Ko Mook.

The first place we stopped we jumped off and snorkeled..................... Dad you would have loved it- the water is so clear and so many brightly coloured fish- unlike Malta's grey waters!!!!!

We moved on and everyone was getting into kyakes and we thought O great but it turned out we weren't allow as we hadn't paid the extra to do it- something we hadn't been told about when buying the ticket!!! Nevermind!

Next we swam through a cave which was pitch black and slightly frightening but it eventually opened out into the most amazing area- it felt like you were inside a Volcano- it was a private beach only to be reached by going through the cave! Its name is Emerald Cave but also known as "Tam Nam" (Tam was loving this!) There are not many photos today as most are on my waterproof camera...............................................

We stopped at two other islands aswell to snorkel, one rock we stopped at was just covered in bats!!!!! (trhink we had one in our room last night actually!)

It was a really good day........ good value too......... we got our lunch although that was very ropey looking so just chose rice, but got loads of fruit throughout the day and later tea and biscuits!!

Glad we did it x

Tomorrow we are getting an early ferry over to Phi Phi- really looking forward to it- so update in a couple of days probably xxxx
