We decided to have a look around the island and travelled over to the East coast. The scenery is really stunning, you can hear monkeys in the jungle and see huge Eagles swooping out over the sea - really amazing.

We were going to visit a cave but decided against it when we were told it would involve climbing and crawling through narrow gaps. It's far too hot for that here.

We managed to get a flat tyre and limped to a garage. It was repaired in 20 minutes while we did our shopping next door. When we returned and asked the cost we were told 50 baht, which is 75p!! Wow.

The East coast is not sandy like the west but very pretty. At high tide the rocks are fully submerged.

It would be lovely to build a house on this island, that truly would be peaceful!
