After 2 nights in Prachuap we waited 2 hours extra as our train to Chumphon was delayed. Well on our way we nearly missed our station and Lynn forgot her book on train, had to rush back on and retrieve it,the staff were not impressed as they turn around very quickly at stations. Chumphon is nothing special, its usually a stop over for Koh Tao or for Visa runs to Burma which is only 40km away. So we hired a scooter and travelled up the coast to a nice beach called Hat Tha Wua Laen. We also booked and payed for ferry tickets to Koh Tao and onards to koh Phagnam.
