Our Perfect Spot
Bye-Bye-Bangkok! Hello Trat!

Mid afternoon on Saturday...

A hop on a bus has lead Mike and I to a magical town called Trat! We love it here. Trat is an adorable town where the people are unbelievably friendly and the overall atmosphere is can be sumed up in one word: relaxation.

We arrived in Trat after a six hour bus ride and were stunned at how different Trat was in comparison to Bangkok. Bangkok was a bit too busy for our tastes. From the second we slid out of our taxi we were graciously welcomed by the local residients with suggestions on were we should stay for the night.

The Sawaddee Guest House was where we decided to shack up and within minutes we loved it so much we changed our plans to stay an extra day.

We had dinner that evening at the Pop House Cafe where we met a couple from Australia and a couple from Sweden. We all had a great time learning about travel hot spots and just chatting about life.

Sunday brought exploring Trat, eating, getting a massage and lounging around our cozy room. Mike and I stick out here

Our Room
like a sore thumb here; thats quite alright though since whenever we notice the "stare down" we are met with a smile.

We are heading to Koh Chang tomorrow (Monday). It's an Island not far off the coast of Trat. We are excited to get to the beach.

Mike lost his favorite sunglasses on Saturday. We will continue to search for a Taxi driver rocking $200 shades.

Sunglasses
Consider whether the taxi driver accidentally sat on them while rocking out a little too hard. I'm told it's surprisingly easy to do. Love the pics, guys.
