Back to School

Well, the kiddos went back to school today. J. is in year 5 (that's 4th grade to you Americans) and C. is in Kindergarten2 (preschool in USA speak).

They were rather bummed out that their summer holidays had come to an end. J. has had a wonderful unstructured summer playing with the other boys in the compound....we have a whole tribe of 8-12 year old boys in this place. They've been riding bikes, playing lots of video games, and playing lots of tag and hide and seek...all day, every day. They were also pretty good about letting C. tag along after them. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, or at least be put off until the weekend.
