Here are a couple of pictures from the compound wide Halloween party that my friend and I engineered. The western kids were thrilled as Halloween is really not celebrated here, and our Thai neighbors got a good idea of what a casual, American block party is all about.

C. actually had a very cool Batman costume, but he hid it because he found J's old power ranger costume and he wanted to wear that instead.

While there are many Thai pumpkins around, they don't lend themselves well to carving.....so our Jack O Lantern was made out of a watermelon!
