Another bit of blaaaaa to test out this blogging business and get some photo's up for you all to see.

We are in the Siam Centre in Bangkok, which is a bit like a large Harvey Nics for the Bangkok bourgoisee. A fascinating food hall with just about all tastes catered for, with ofcourse the worldwide starbastards coffee shops and McDonalds bringing the waistlines of thai people to european proportions, albeit only a few larger thai people.

Tonight we are on the overnight train to Chaing Mai. It's a long time since I last got the train up there, infact it was 1993 and already there are some very noticeable differences and improvements from the pictures we've seen of the sleeping compartments. They even have tourist information staff as you enter the train station, to explain your options of journeys, class of carriage and they also come to the counter and order your ticket in thai when you've decided. Last time i just had to shout louder like all english do & i got my ticket to chaing mai, even though i was trying to get to koh samui ;-) ok Annabet is hassling me to put some photo's on the site for you all, so here goes...
