My brain is a jar of pickles right now, i don't know if that is a proper analogy but I don't care. I was on China airlines where the majority spoke chinese, wasn't sure what the pilot or what anyone else was saying at the time, then I happen upon Taiwan where everyone speaks taiwanese which is why I got lost in the first place. Now here I is in Bangkok, Thailand where everyone speaks Thai. I wake up every morning pretty surprised myself how I made it this far. At the airport i had no clue where to go or what to do or where to get my bags, all I know is I had to walk at least a good quarter mile to get to where I needed to be. Changed about $40 USD which lasted me a long time by the way. Went out the airport hopped in a taxi and just gave him directions to my hotel that i printed out. His meter was on so I don't think I got ripped off I paid about a little over a dollar. I noticed going to my hotel there was a flight of stairs to the doors then
::sigh::
The kitchen that never was I saw a ramp to the right it was marble and kinda steep well I thought it was a ramp so I tried walking up and rolling my luggage up the slope but I slipped and fell. Now I knew it was just part of the design of the building not used for a ramp I was so ashamed. I eventually got to the receptionists and got my key to my room. It was pretty big had a kitchen and living room I never used. The room had a really wide bed and HBO it was tight I watched movies probably all day. Later on I decided to do some exploring, I ended up in this really crowded market it was so hott. Dood it was weird I almost stepped on a man either he was the shortest guy I saw in my life or he had no legs that was sitting in the middle of a busy walking path in the heat. I was scared. Actually it wasn't even that hot I was surprised how nice the weather was here at this time it felt like big SD on a good day. I found a 7-11 not to far
off and bought a phone card and called my parents from an international phone boof outside. 7-11 is the starbucks of thailand or somethang, cause there is one on every corner or block. I got a little hungry, spotted a mcdonald's and spoiled myself with the ridiculously low prices, It was legit didn't taste different or anything. Once it touched my lips there was a rush of nostalgia and I felt like I'm home. but I wish I could've beasted a cali. Nothing much happened after that was pretty faded off of the cheeseburgers and went back to my room to watch movies and go to bed that night. The next day I did pretty much the same thing but met up some friends from the internet and went to some concert at a university got to watch a band called armchair they seem to be pretty popular here i saw some of their videos on tv. it was cool. a good time to be had by all. Everything is all g-unit so far I haven't been scared for my life or anything yet except when I rode a tuk tuk thoes guys are a lil crazy but still they're
Armchair
Just me and some thai students with some famous band not as bad as I've read them to be. Basically it just feels like I live on my own but it's fun every second is an adventure. I think I'm the only filipino in thailand.
One.
