Hello!
Just a quick note to say we arrived in Bangkok safe, after a very tough 12 hour flight, although Kung Fu Panda was excellent in-flight entertainment as was the Spanish guy kicking off with the staff behind us.
The hostel was a bit hard to find but is very nice. We love the ingenious time saving devise of being able to shower whilst having a poo...you dont even have to wipe! The staff are brilliant and very helpful.
First night we took it easy and only had a couple of buckets (cocktails) on Koh San road, and managed to resist the 'ping pong shows'. Jetlag and a mosque interrupted our sleep though.
First real day and we sorted out our Vietnam Visa and went to Dusit Zoo, pics to follow including the water monitor that followed us on our pedalow.
To wrap it up we're having a great time already, and for some reason I (Dan) insist on trying to speak Spanish to every Thai person. No farting in the Tuk Tuks!
Will update soon, obviously dont want to be spending too much time on the internet what with whole new countries to explore. x

Sounds like you're having an amazing tme already. What do you mean you try to speak Spanish to everyone? When did you become fluent in Spanish? Ping pong show is obligatory, make sure you see one...bet it's miles better than Sticky Vicky who I (Petrona) saw performing on stage in Benidorm!!! Love you both xxxxx
