After a mammoth 2 day journey we've arrived back in Bangkok and are spending a few days winding down before our flight home to Britain.
The weather is living up to expectations for Thailands rainy season. One minute it's blue sky and sunny, next thing you know it's pouring down with rain. It's so warm though that you can carry on regardless in the knowledge that you'll dry up in no time. And of course it's not stopping us enjoying the peace and tranquility of our hotel pool. This hotel is becoming like our second home! This is the 4th time we've been here this year!
We stopped overnight in Kuala Lumpur but didn't hang around as it is hotting up in readiness for the 50th anniversary of Independence, we managed to catch a firework display but sorry no photos.
Today is Stan's birthday, so we plan to celebrate in style tonight in some Bangkok restaurant (not sure where yet).
Before we go home we plan to visit Wat Po, the home of the Reclining Buddha.
