Fast Food on the WaterFast Food on the WaterFast Food on the Water

Local produce being sold on the river
Still recovering from jetlag. Walked along the riverfront, and took a long-tailed boat down the winding canals (Khlongs) viewing the locals stilted houses - 'waterborne life of yesteryear'. Plenty of dogs relaxing on jetties, & locals selling produce in small boats. Small friendly children constantly waving outside their waterside houses clad with exotic hanging planters - 'the land of smiles'! Fed huge fish, and saw Thai dancing.

Then discovered the local area, including Khasan Road with all its sights, smells and manic atmosphere, where we sampled the local drinks! Anything is possible here - a crazy place! Finished off the day with delicious Thai cuisine - this is the life.
