Still recovering from jetlag. Walked along the riverfront, and took a long-tailed boat down the winding canals (Khlongs) viewing the locals stilted houses - 'waterborne life of yesteryear'. Plenty of dogs relaxing on jetties, & locals selling produce in small boats. Small friendly children constantly waving outside their waterside houses clad with exotic hanging planters - 'the land of smiles'! ... read more
