The beauty started well, and just got better.

My favourite place in Taiwan, not even mentioned in the Lonely planet.

Our house in Chishang up on the hill. We cycled up the hill and enjoyed our noodles in our country retreat! The owners - "Taiwanese grandparents" looked after us well!

That's the restaurant, not the dumplings that are 70 years old! Only 1 dish served in this very basic restaurant, but it still claims Taiwan-wide fame!
