Had you asked me a month ago for my opinion of Taiwan, I would have said 'factories, made in Taiwan, and not sure what there is to see'...Now however, the answer would be full of enthusiasm and complimentary words!....I am a fan, and hopefully I can covey why. I moved to Hong Kong in August 2007 with the intention of staying for 9 months...until I left eight and a half years later....I finally made a move from HK and spent 2016 in Sydney, Australia. 2017 has included Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Peru, Ireland and Sweden. My favourite adventure: I went travelling in Asia and Europe for six months, taking the Trans-Siberian railway back to England. We managed to get from Thailand to London with no airplanes! Our house in Chishang up on the hill. We cycled up the hill and enjoyed our noodles in our country retreat! The owners - "Taiwanese grandparents" looked after us well!

That's the restaurant, not the dumplings that are 70 years old! Only 1 dish served in this very basic restaurant, but it still claims Taiwan-wide fame!
