The folowing day i took the early bus to Geongju, said to be the kyoto of Korea. I had to agree with that, the city hosted some great temples and palaces. The difference with the japanese temples/ shrines is that the Korean ones are smaller, but much more colourfull. I was amazed by the beautifull painting of animals and gods. Half the day i visited some temples before going by bus to Daegu, the third largest citie in Korea. Wel known about its famous herbal medicine market, here you find the fairytale powerdrinks such as reindeer horns, strange leafs, ginseng roots, salamander tails, pork feet, etc...etc..it was interesting for a short walk around this area. Later on i went to the biggest market in asia with around 4000 shops...It was so interesting to see what and how much they sell, but it seemed that i was more interesting....people where clearly pointing at me, laughing or just staring as if i came from another world....interesting, but strange to experience. In the evening i slept again in a motel and went for a final evening stroll through the cities nigth life.
