Singapore
Sign speaks for itself Out of all my previous experiences with moving to the other countries I guess Singapore would be placed on the top.
I booked a student hostel for a month just to be on a safe side with looking for an apartment. Hostel wasn't especially splendid, though it was clean and had an air-con. Plus half of the rent was subsidized by AStar, which makes nice start 😊
The very next day after arriving at Singapore I went to IMRE to sign in the documents. If you think that the amount of paperwork you had to fill in before was a lot then think it through again. Though silver lining is that HR went through it thousand times before so they will guide you smoothly.
First thing to do is Ministry of Manpower and then everything is basically settled- within a week you get your TEP card and can open a bank account and get phone contract and what's quite nice and convenient- you can go through the border without queuing and paperwork- just scan your finger print and you're in!!!!!
The next thing is finding an apartment or a room in a sharing apartment. Most likely a

Nadia's and Amy's 6h visit in Singapore... room since in Singapore there are not many studios or even double room flats, and if they are they are rather expensive. I myself contacted HR in A*Star and UCL and gathered people like me to rent the whole apartment together, which worked out significantly cheaper than renting a room with the same standard from the agent (beware of second hand renting- it's illegal and you won't get any reimbursement).
Once settled down Singapore is really easy and nice city to live in. Moving around is easy and rather straight forward. And city itself is really nice with whole range of sights, from small- village like areas like Little India to places like Marina Bay and Raffles where big financial world shows its face.
And most of all food- Singapore is an Asian capital of food! You can get everything here- from sea food, Malay, different kinds of Chinese, Indian and Indonesian, Thai and even Lebanese. Simply amazing with price range from 2 SGD to whatever is your limit (it is significantly cheaper to eat out that to cook at home) . But what I love the most are fresh fruits cut and ready to eat.
Overall-
Singapore
Therefore we need to go straight to the essence of this city- food!!! Singapore is nice and friendly place to live in!
