Frankie all ready for the day ahead Well the day started a tad bit early with Frankie waking up at 6:30 and wanting to watch t.v..so we soon got up and headed out for some brekkie at Novena mall. Then headed on the MRT to Universal Studios which was about 30min away. We had 2 train swaps along the way and the trains are packed, so many people but its no stress and everyone is carrying on with what they are doing. The Singapore MRT lines are just fantastic! So easy to use and so efficient.
We soon got off the train at Harbour Front Station and made our way over the boardwalk to Sentosa Island, where Universal Studios is located, as well as a ton of other sites. We got our passes and headed through the gates. First we headed to Madagascar where we boarded the Madagascar Ride. The girls and Frankie loved it. It was a ride in a boat that went through the ship from Madagascar, where you meet all the characters along the way and it tells a bit of a story. We soon made our way around the park and stopped off at a few rides and attractions. We went to Far

Walking over to sentosa on the broadwalk Far Away Land where Dani and Frankie went on the Roller Coaster ride. It was Frankie's first proper roller coaster ride and he didn't like it too much, but was a brave boy for trying. We pretty much heard him screaming and crying thew whole way. The Sherk 4D show was good. It is the exact same show that is at Movie World (Gold Coast). We had lunch at the Lost World section of the park. Stu had a laksa and the kids and I had a chicken and rice dish, was delish with bean sprouts and pickled vegetables.
We carried on around the park and looked at a few other attractions. The lines for some of the rides were more than a hour so we decided to not line up for them. There was lots to look at along the way though so we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. The park was very busy as it is a Saturday and we expected that. We made our way back to Harbour Front Mall. We cant get over the amount of food stalls and restaurants here they have so many different food places its amazing! Every MRT

Over looking the bay station that we've been to so far has a shopping centre above it, you can't get away from the shops even if you wanted to!
We changed the couple of line to return to Novena and made our back back to the hotel. Our hotel is located at Zhongshan Park and the gardens around the hotel are just beautiful - there are always people around with children running and playing - great spot to let little man run some energy off. Also at the edge of the park is some shops and restaurants with quite a range of eating options. We chose a Thai restaurant for dinner and the meals were delicious. I had a beef salad, Stu had a soft shell crab dish - the nicest soft shell crab that I've tried, the sauce was absolutely delicious on it. Dani had a mushroom noodle dish but unfortunately couldn't eat
