So after another insano bus ride we made it to Banaue. These roads make Tofino's seem like a four laned highway. We met a little lady on the bus that took us to a home stay house looking out over the rice terraces. None of us had much sleep so we had some naps and got picked up by a driver to tour us around the rice terraces. We couldn't get to the huge ones in Batad because we have no time. 1 week here is not nearly enough. So we checked out the ones around Banaue. I don't think I have ever seen anything so amazing. They are massive and built all the way up the mountains edges. Small house are built throughout the terraces. We walked through the terraces on little tiny pathways between them to a hot springs. They wern't that hot, only slightly warm. We lucked out because it just started to rain on the drive back and once it rains it pours. After being in Banaue for 12 hours we caught another night bus to Manila. 10 hours later here we are at 6am. Now we are waiting to get a bed, nothing is open. I guesse I'll get some sleep when I get home. Tomorrow to Nam!!!!! I still miss San Juan though!
