So we're now officially at a ridiculous height at 4410m!!!! I have a slight headache but Tashi has a roll on thing to help with that and drinking plenty of water. A few people are sick. Diamox rocks! Lol
This morning we went TO the monastery I found it a humbling experience. Was good to see them sitting there and chanting their prayers though!
We then headed out and had a really long walk not huge inclines but long windy stretches. It has been misty all day but dry. No sunrise this morning 😞
We've just arrived at our digs for tonight and I only have wifi for one hour so updating while I can.
Found out I have a beautiful new niece weighing in at 7lb 9ozs born on 22/9. She looks beautiful.
Managed to speak to Colin too,
It's cold today I have like five layers on! Jess doing ok had a bad belly today but think she's over it this evening.
We're in the local water now with our chlorine tablets as it's getting more expensive to buy.
we have a toilet but no flush lol and rooms are cold so layers in bed too!!!! Brrrr
The fires are no longer wood but Zokyo (cross between yak and cow) dung! Smells lush 😊
