Terelj

The Terelj is a national park, just east of UB. It is a delightful verdant valley with unusual rock formations. Stayed in the family's ger (they moved in with someone else...think they had overbooked) which was super mod. They had a tv & dvd, fridge, 3 deep fat fryers and a sandwich maker! Slept under a huge image of Chengis Khan. Highlight of the trip was horserinding - basically let run free thru the valley on these beautiful horses.
